The Plutus Collection ("Plutus," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. It also explains how we use that information, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
We are a dealer of authenticated pre-owned luxury watches based in Charlotte, North Carolina.
By using our website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Watch and transaction information. When you inquire about buying a watch, or when you offer a watch for sale, trade, or consignment, we may collect details about the watch, including brand, model, reference number, serial number, condition, service history, accompanying box and papers, purchase history, asking price or budget, and photographs you upload or send us. Photographs may contain embedded metadata such as the date, device, or location where the image was taken.
Sourcing request information. If you ask us to locate a specific watch, we collect the specifications you provide, including reference, dial, year, acceptable condition, and budget range.
Transaction and payment information. When you complete a purchase or sale, we collect information necessary to process the transaction, including billing and shipping addresses. Payments are made by Zelle, Wire, or Credit Card. Card payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers on our systems.
Identity and verification information. For higher-value transactions, or where required to prevent fraud or comply with applicable law, we may collect government-issued identification, proof of address, proof of ownership, or similar verification documents.
Marketing information. If you join our mailing list, we collect your email address and any preferences you provide.

We may disclose information when we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request; to enforce our terms; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, theft, security issues, or illegal activity; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Plutus, our customers, or others. This includes cooperating with law enforcement in matters involving stolen property.

We use sensitive personal information only for purposes permitted under the CCPA without a right to limit, including verifying identity, preventing fraud, processing payment, and providing the goods and services you have requested. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

14.12 California Shine the Light
California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits California residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

We will respond to an appeal within 45 days. If your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general to submit a complaint.
Nevada. Nevada residents may submit a request directing us not to sell certain covered information. We do not sell covered information as defined under Nevada law, but you may submit a request to info@theplutuscollection.com.

17. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" setting. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to these signals, and our website does not respond to them. We do not track consumers across third-party websites to provide targeted advertising.
